This probably happens more in fandoms than anything else.
Because why don't we all just make one big group so I don't have to join 5 to get my fandom needs? It would be more convenient.
Repeats should be really for groups that are dead (i.e. no to very little club activity.)

I don't really see anything wrong with repeat groups. Just like I don't see anything wrong with repeat RP Accounts, and Ask Accounts. I actually own a few repeat Ask Accounts:

, but I'll only make a repeat account if the original is inactive.
was a repeat account, but like 2 days ago the original deactivated, and now I'm sad. I feel responsible for it. Since some Ask Accounts would deactivate when another comes onto the scene.
Sorry for ranting, but in all honesty I don't see a problem with it. As long as it's a club for my favorite characters I will happily join all of them.
